Ramadan Operating Hours Set for Commercial Shops and Food Services

The Ministry of Economic Development has published the operating hours for commercial shops and food and beverage service providers for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
According to the ministry, commercial shops will be allowed to open from 5:30 am until 1:00 am throughout the month of Ramadan and during the first seven days of Shawwal. The ministry said that the changes in timings for commercial shops will be effective from today onwards.
Food and beverage service providers will be permitted to operate daily from 5:30 pm until 3:00 am during Ramadan. During the first seven days of Shawwal, these establishments may operate from 4:30 am until 3:00 am.

Based on the Islamic calendar, the first day of Ramadan is anticipated to fall on 18 February.
As is customary each year during Ramadan, operating hours for commercial establishments and service providers have been adjusted to accommodate the needs and convenience of the public.
