RDC Awarded Contract for GA. Maamendhoo Major Roads Tarring

The contract for the tarring of the major roads in GA. Maamendhoo has been officially handed to the Road Development Corporation (RDC), yesterday.
The project, valued at MVR 138,675,598.56, was formally handed to RDC during a ceremony held at the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.

The allocated timeline for completion of the project stands at 730 days.
The project encompasses the resurfacing of a substantial 5.47 km stretch of road, alongside the installation of a drainage system. Additionally, the scope of work entails the installation of modern street lighting infrastructure to further augment the overall accessibility and safety of the roads on the island.
