RDC Awarded Contract for R. Inguraidhoo Road Development

The contract for the tarring of the major roads in R. Inguraidhoo has been officially handed to the Road Development Corporation (RDC), today.

The project, valued at MVR 56,430,885.90, was formally handed to RDC during a ceremony held at the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.
The allocated timeline for completion of the project stands at 600 days.
The project encompasses the tarring of a 1.9 km of road, alongside the installation of a drainage system. Additionally, the scope of work entails the installation of modern street lighting infrastructure to further augment the overall accessibility and safety of the roads on the island.
