Registration Now Open for Maldives Youth Hackathon

The Maldives Youth Hackathon has officially commenced, offering opportunity for registration.

This year, participants are invited to tackle three distinct challenges aimed at addressing pressing issues and fostering innovation across various sectors:

1. Innovative Marketplace Challenge: Participants are tasked with enhancing digital competencies and devising e-commerce strategies to facilitate business growth in a rapidly evolving marketplace.

2. Mental Health Innovation Challenge: The focus here is on creating innovative apps that address mental health, emphasizing wellness, physical health, gratitude, mindfulness, and meaningful connections.

3. Creator Economy Challenge: Empowering content creators with tailored solutions to effectively showcase products and services on digital platforms is the aim of this challenge.

The allure of the grand prize, which includes MVR 100,000 alongside additional prizes from partners, adds to the excitement and motivation for participants.

The hackathon is scheduled to take place at the Social Centre in Maafannu, providing an ideal venue for collaboration and innovation.

Calling on passionate problem solvers aged 18-35, the organisers encourage teams of 3-5 members to participate, emphasising the importance of teamwork and diversity.
