Roads Around President’s Office, Parliament to Close for First Session

Roads surrounding the President’s Office and the Parliament will be closed tomorrow from 7:00 a.m. until the first parliamentary session of this year is over, the Maldives Police Service said.
In a post on X, the police highlighted the areas affected by the road closures for the ceremony. These include Medhuziyaarai Magu from Sosun Magu to the Victory Monument, Shaheed Kuda Adamge Kuda Thuthu Higun, and Boduthakurufaanu Magu from Republic Square to Lotus Goalhi.
The Maldives Police Service apologised for the inconvenience and thanked the public for their cooperation.

The first session of Parliament for the year is scheduled to open tomorrow. Under the law, the President is required to deliver a presidential address during the opening session.
