Saudi Arabia Donates Additional 10 Tonnes of Dates to the Maldives

Saudi Arabia has donated an additional 10 tonnes of dates to the Maldives, bringing the total amount provided this year to 60 tonnes.

Each year, Saudi Arabia supplies dates to the Maldives during the month of Ramadan. Earlier this year, the Saudi government donated 50 tonnes, followed by the latest contribution.
A ceremony was held yesterday at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to distribute the additional dates. The donation was officially handed over by the Minister of Islamic Affairs in the presence of officials from the Saudi Embassy in the Maldives.
The contribution was made by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah, and Guidance.
