The group, led by Bandar bin Abdullah Al-Rajhi, Chairman of the Al-Safwa Foundation, is set to meet the Minister of Islamic Affairs and members of the Supreme Council for Fatwa as part of its official engagements.
The delegation’s programme also includes meetings with the Maldives Hajj Corporation, the National Centre for the Holy Quran and local religious leaders. A presentation outlining the foundation’s initiatives is planned as part of the visit.
The conference will bring together a wide range of service providers and aligns with President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s pledge to strengthen the national framework for pilgrimage administration. By enhancing coordination between private companies and the Islamic Affairs Ministry, the event aims to expand service capacity and deepen religious awareness among Maldivian pilgrims.
Panel discussions and keynote addresses will feature scholars and representatives from relevant institutions, continuing a series of symposiums organised by the ministry to reinforce the country’s religious governance structure.
