Second Motorcycle Linked to Highway Accident, Rider’s Licence Confiscated

Police have confirmed that a second motorcycle was involved in the fatal accident on the Male-Hulhumale highway last Saturday morning, which resulted in the death of a Bangladeshi man.
Authorities have revealed that another motorcycle was also part of the incident. This second vehicle was towed, and its rider’s licence was confiscated. However, the reason for towing the motorcycle has not been disclosed.
The accident occurred when a motorcycle collided with cones placed on the right side of the highway.
The rider was transported to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), where he later succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment. Further details have not been provided as the investigation remains ongoing.
