Voting is currently underway in the Maldives for the 2023 presidential election. The polls officially opened at 8:00 am and are scheduled to remain accessible to voters until 5:00 pm.

In the second round of the presidential election, the eligible voter count has risen to 282,804, exceeding the 282,395 voters in the initial round.

Additionally, the number of deployed ballot boxes has increased to 586, compared to the 574 used in the first round.
