Sections of Male’-Hulhumale’ Link Road to be Closed Tomorrow

The Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, and Technology has informed the public that certain sections of the Male’-Hulhumale’ link road will be temporarily closed to facilitate solar power installation, tomorrow. 

The lanes which will be closed from the Hulhumale’-Male’ link road are Link Road Sections 1, 2, 3, and highlighted as below, along with a lane at Boashimaa Hingun.

One lane from these road sections will be temporarily closed from 9AM until 5PM. 

The solar power network installation project, with backing from the World Bank, is aimed to construct a 5.6 MW solar power system in Hulhumale. 

The Ministry has advised the public stating that it’s important for drivers and local residents to exercise caution and patience during the project’s execution.
