Suspect in Thaiba Mosque Vandalism Released to Family, Investigation Continues

A 24-year-old man arrested for vandalising Sultan Hassan Izzudheen Mosque (Thaiba Mosque) has been handed over to his family, police confirmed.
The incident occurred yesterday when the man broke a window of the mosque. Authorities stated that the case remains under investigation despite the release of the suspect to his family.
In a separate incident, a mosque in Hithadhoo, Addu was also vandalised last night. No arrests have been made in connection with this case.
