Now in its fourth year, the Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup has become a key fixture in the Maldives’ sporting calendar, offering a dedicated platform for resort-based futsal teams to compete at a high level. The introduction of the title belt adds a fresh layer of prestige to the competition, further raising the profile of resort futsal.

The belt was officially unveiled by Ayaaz Ahmed, better known as Ayaa, one of the country’s most celebrated futsal players. With a reputation built on technical skill and leadership, Ayaa has earned numerous accolades, including several Man of the Match titles and top player awards in major tournaments nationwide. His presence at the unveiling highlighted the significance of the new honour.
