Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup 2025 Kicks Off at CROSSROADS Maldives

The Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup 2025 officially kicked off yesterday at The Marina at CROSSROADS Maldives, uniting resort communities across the Malé atoll in a vibrant celebration of sport, teamwork, and community spirit.

Organised by Tekkers Sports Management, the annual futsal tournament brings together resort teams in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere, with the current edition dedicated to the Malé zone. Running from June 15 to 29, 2025, the tournament features top-tier resort teams showcasing their skills, unity, and passion for the game.

The tournament features two groups competing in the Malé zone. Group A includes The Marina at CROSSROADS Maldives, SO/ Maldives, Sun Siyam Olhuveli, Velassaru Maldives, and Embudu Village. Group B consists of JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort, OZEN LIFE Maadhoo, SAii Lagoon Maldives – Curio Collection by Hilton, and Hard Rock Hotel Maldives.

Dhiraagu, the title sponsor, supports initiatives aimed at encouraging physical activity and community engagement. Its collaboration with Tekkers reflects an ongoing involvement in sports and recreational events across the Maldives.

The Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup serves as a platform for resort workers to engage in organised sport, encouraging participation, teamwork, and a sense of community within the resort sector.

Matches will continue over the coming two weeks, culminating in a final showdown that will crown the Malé zone champions.
