Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup 2025 Kicks Off in Alif Alif Zone

The Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup 2025 Alif Alif Zone began on Thursday at Kuramathi Maldives, featuring three resorts battling for the atoll championship.

 The opening ceremony included a Boduberu performance by the Kuramathi Boduberu Group, the national anthem, and speeches by Mohamed Nashmee, Managing Director of Tekkers Maldives, and Bertrand Margerie, General Manager of Kuramathi Maldives.

In the first match, hosts Kuramathi Maldives defeated W Maldives 2–0, with Mohamed Saain (#7, Kuramathi) named Man of the Match. The Alif Alif Zone also features Veligandu Maldives. The group stage continues this week, with the zone champion set to face Dhaalu Atoll champion The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli in the Zone Final. The winner will advance to the Grand Semi-Final against South Kaafu Zone champion Crossroads Maldives.
