The government has announced that out of the 4,000 flats promised under the previous administration’s Gedhoruveriyaa housing scheme, only 1,820 applicants are eligible.
Speaking at a press conference today to reveal the final list, Minister of Construction, Housing, and Infrastructure Dr Abdulla Muththalib stated that a review found 53% of the recipients had been awarded points incorrectly by the previous administration.
