Therapeutic Treatment Support Provided to Over 200 Individuals in May

More than 200 individuals received financial assistance for therapeutic treatment in May 2025 through government-supported programmes aimed at aiding people with disabilities.

A total of 158 recipients benefited from a dedicated programme offering financial support specifically for therapeutic treatments for individuals with disabilities. The total amount disbursed under this scheme was MVR 6,529,248.

In addition, the Medical Assistance Programme extended therapeutic treatment support to 84 individuals during the same period. Financial assistance granted under this initiative totalled MVR 480,761.
