Triplets Born to Maldivian Couple Pass Away Within Hours of Birth

Triplets born to a Maldivian couple passed away yesterday, less than a day after their birth.

The three baby boys, from a family in Gd. Fiyoaree, were delivered via caesarean section at Tree Top Hospital in Malé due to the high-risk nature of the pregnancy.

The children were born when the mother was five months pregnant. The mother’s current condition has not been disclosed.

The babies, named Looth, Hoodh, and Meekail, were laid to rest at Hulhumalé Cemetery following a funeral prayer held at 5:00 PM yesterday.
