UAE Ambassador Pays Farewell Call on President Muizzu

His Excellency Sheikh Rahma bin Abdulrahman Alshamsi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Maldives, paid a farewell call on President Dr Mohamed Muizzu at the President’s Office this morning.

According to the President’s Office, during the meeting, President Muizzu expressed his gratitude for the Ambassador’s support throughout his tenure, noting the progress made in strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations. He reaffirmed his commitment to continued collaboration with the UAE and expressed optimism about further enhancing ties in the future.

The Ambassador, in turn, commended the Maldives’ notable development achievements under the current Administration. Both sides concluded the meeting by reaffirming their shared commitment to deepening the longstanding relationship between the Maldives and the UAE.
