Villa College Begins September 2024 Intake Orientation Week

Villa College has commenced its orientation week for the September 2024 intake, which began yesterday, 9 September 2024, and will run until 12 September 2024.

The programme aims to familiarise new students with educational techniques, available resources, college procedures, and campus facilities.

The orientation began with a blessing of the Holy Quran. Dr Ahmed Anwar, the Rector of Villa College, addressed the new intake, emphasising the importance of diligence and integrity in their studies.

The day’s events concluded with a speech by Fathimath Rizna, an alumna and recipient of the Qasim Ibrahim Excellence Award. Rizna, a 2023 graduate in Bachelor of Sharia and Law who completed her Master’s in Sharia and Law in May 2024, shared her positive experiences and the value of utilising the college’s resources.

Following the formal sessions, students participated in engaging activities designed to foster connections and explore Villa College’s facilities. A total of 77 programmes are set to commence in this September intake.
