VP Attends Iranian Presidential Inauguration as Special Envoy

Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef attended the inauguration ceremony of the President-elect of Iran, Dr Masoud Pezeshkian, as the Special Envoy of Dr Mohamed Muizzu, President of the Republic of the Maldives. 

The event was held at the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Islamic Parliament) in Tehran.

Following the swearing-in ceremony, Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef participated in a photograph with President Masoud Pezeshkian and the rest of the dignitaries attending the ceremony.
