Over the course of two days, the U12 Milo Academy Championship 2023 showcased the talents of young participants representing 22 teams.
In the final match, Maziya Academy clinched victory with a score of 0-1 against their counterparts from Alika Sports Academy. Meanwhile, M.S. Mates secured the commendable third position in this spirited tournament.
During the closing ceremony, Vice President Naseem praised the efforts of the Soccer Veterans Club in orchestrating a football tournament tailored to children across various age groups.
He stated the importance of consistently hosting such competitions, which play a role in nurturing the potential of the next generation of athletes.
The Vice President personally bestowed the championship trophy upon the victorious team. Alongside this honour, he also bestowed medals and monetary rewards to acknowledge the performances of the top achievers in the competition.
