VP Stresses the Importance of Quranic Verse Comprehension

Vice President Faisal Naseem highlighted the significance of delving into the teachings of the Holy Quran during his address today at the “Mahfal al-Qurani 1445” forum, organized by the Islamic University of Maldives (IUM).
During the ceremony, Vice President Naseem emphasised the value of mastering the art of Quranic recitation in accordance with the rules of Tajweed from an early age.

He also emphasised the importance of dedicating a portion of one’s daily routine to the study and comprehension of the meanings embedded within the Quranic verses.
In his speech, he expressed optimism that the “Mahfal al-Qurani” forum would help tackle some of the challenges related to Quranic education in schools.
The objective behind organising the “Mahfal al-Qurani 1445” forum was to equip participants with knowledge and proficiency in Tajweed principles and the eloquent delivery of Quranic verses.
During the event, the Vice President presented plaques of appreciation to the sponsors who supported the forum. This forum is the third of its kind held this year.
