White Alert Issued from Baa Atoll to Dhaalu Atoll

The Maldives Meteorological Service (MMS) has issued an Alert White for the region stretching from Baa Atoll to Dhaalu Atoll. 

This alert is in effect from 15:15 hrs to 21:15 hrs on 17th September 2023. Residents and visitors in this area should be prepared for adverse weather conditions, including heavy rain, thunderstorms, and gusts of up to 40 mph.

The MET Office’s issuance of this alert highlights the potential for significant weather disturbances during the specified time frame.

 It is advised that individuals in the affected regions take appropriate precautions to ensure their safety and minimize any potential disruptions.
