Will Hand Over Land Before Nov 5, Says Solih

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has said that all the work of handing over land to all those who have been allocated land under the government’s housing project, ‘Binveriya’ will be completed before November 5.

Speaking at a campaign rally in Male’, the President said that his government has provided an adequate solution to the housing problem faced by the people of Male’ after 40 years.

“We are assuring you tonight that by November 5, during our term, we will hand over the allocated land registry to recipients,” Solih stated.

If elected for a second term, the president has promised to provide financial assistance for the construction of the plots.

“We will make financial assistance available to the people through the housing bank,” The President said.
