Will Work to Ensure a Second Term for Muizzu, Says Adhurey

Abdul Raheem Abdullah (Adhurey), the Director General of Transition and Chairman of the Peoples National Congress (PNC), announced his commitment to securing a second term for President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

Abdul Raheem was present at a series of press conferences hosted by the President-elect’s office today, where he addressed questions from journalists.

During the meeting, he emphasised that the government’s primary focus is to evaluate the state agencies’ status during this transitional period, with the intent of fulfilling the campaign promises made by Muizzu.

While discussing the government’s efforts, Abdul Raheem expressed his belief that President-elect Muizzu’s initial five-year term should conclude with the successful realisation of the commitments made for the upcoming five years, eliminating the necessity to seek a second term based on unfulfilled promises.

Abdul Raheem conveyed his confidence that the electorate would not question Muizzu’s commitment to his earlier promises when considering him for a second term. He also noted that the government is actively supporting this transitional phase.
