Woman Hospitalised After Being Found on Rooftop in Malé

A 21-year-old woman is receiving treatment at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) after she was found on the roof of a neighbouring building yesterday.
The police stated that they received a report of the incident at 7:23am. Details surrounding how the woman came to be on the roof remain unclear, including the height of the fall and the severity of injuries sustained.

Emergency services, including the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) Fire and Rescue Service, assisted in removing the woman from the rooftop. She was subsequently transported to IGMH, where she continues to receive medical care.
The hospital has not disclosed information regarding her current condition. Police have confirmed that further investigations are ongoing.
