Nasir, the Humanitarian

Mohamed Nasir, 27 yr old from Bangladesh moved to the Maldives in 2016 when a friend recommended him to work here. Nasir started his work venture as a guest relations officer and has advanced in this field throughout the years.HE says that when he had to work 8 hours a day, he started to realize that he could do a lot more with his free time and started looking for things to do that could be beneficial for him and others.

Nasir found Maldivian Red Crescent through a friend.

Nasir says that it was an instant click since he has always been passionate about volunteer work and helping others. Ever since 2018, Nasir has been taking part in different campaigns organized by them and tries to help in every way he can.

When asked to describe his work and personal experience in the Maldives, Nasir said that he has many Maldivian friends and he enjoys his time with them and his overall experience has been pleasant with the general public.

Like many, Nasir hasn’t been able to visit his family for the last two years and is planning to do that soon.
