Maldives Takes Part in Global Education Summit in Paris

The Maldives recently participated in the sixth “Creativity in Education” summit, which took place on 17 and 18 October in Paris.
Dr Maryam Maria, the Minister of Higher Education, represented the country at this international event.

Organised by UNESCO and the Global Creative Thinking Institute, the summit provided a platform for scholars and educators from around the globe to exchange ideas and discuss strategies for enhancing productivity within the education sector.
Minister Maria held meetings with several prominent figures during the conference, including Frank Low of the Global Creative Thinking Institute, Professor Asha Kanwar, Chair of the UNESCO-IITE Governing Board, and Tao Zhan, Director of UNESCO-IITE. She also met with Justin Valentine, the Minister of Education from Seychelles.
