Timings for Bus and Ferry Services Adjusted for Ramadan

Public transport schedules will be revised during the upcoming Ramadan month, with bus services in the Malé area set to begin at 07:00 am.

According to the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), the RTL bus service between Malé and Hulhumalé will also start at 07:00 am. Services will be suspended at 5:00 pm for breaking the fast and will resume at 07:00 pm, continuing until midnight. Bus services within the Malé area will follow a similar schedule, pausing at 06:00 pm for breaking the fast, resuming at 09:00 pm, and operating until midnight.

MTCC, which operates ferry services across 20 atolls, has announced that ferry services during Ramadan will conclude before sunset, with the last service on each route scheduled accordingly. Additionally, there will be no ferry services on Fridays throughout the month.
