The Ministry of Housing has received over 2,800 complaints following the release of the flat list on 27 February. Complaints were accepted starting 1 March, and as of the latest update, 2,843 complaints have been recorded.
A ministry official indicated that the majority of complaints, 2,079 in total, were related to three-bedroom flats, while 764 concerned two-bedroom flats.
In response to the high volume of complaints, the deadline for submission has been extended from 31 March to 15 April. The ministry has stated that it is currently reviewing the complaints and will take necessary action based on the concerns raised.
A significant number of complaints have come from individuals deemed ineligible, many of whom have presented documents to challenge the eligibility of those included on the list. The government is considering these complaints and will reassess eligibility using records from relevant government agencies.
