Maldives Immigration detained 13 foreign nationals yesterday during an operation targeting illegal immigration in the capital.
The task force carried out searches in the vicinity of Zikura Mosque and Bondibai Park, where a total of 35 individuals were checked. The 13 taken into custody are now under immigration detention, authorities confirmed.

This operation forms part of ongoing efforts by the Immigration to identify and take action against foreign nationals residing in the country without legal status.
