Gov’t Invites Bidders for Thilafushi Clinic Operation

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced that it is inviting interested parties to operate a clinic on Thilafushi.
Applications are now open for those wishing to lease a 669.3 square foot plot of land for a ten-year period.

According to the announcement, the monthly rent for the first two years will be set at MVR 17.5 per square foot, totalling MVR 11,712.75 per month. Proposals for the lease must be for a minimum duration of three to five years.
HDC has estimated the cost of developing the clinic on the site to be MVR 435,045.
A pre-bid meeting will be held via Zoom on May 4 at 2pm, providing potential bidders with further details. Bid proposals can be submitted between 1pm and 2pm on May 22, with the bid opening scheduled for 2pm on the same day at the HDC Head Office.
