Secretary General of OIC Meets With President Muizzu

Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary General of the Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC), paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Muizzu at the President’s Office yesterday.

During the meeting, the President thanked the OIC for its continued support of the Maldives and praised the organisation’s strong leadership. He reaffirmed the Government’s full commitment to close cooperation with the OIC.

In response, Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha described the Maldives as one of the OIC’s most prominent member states and expressed pride in the institutions the country has built.

Both leaders concluded the meeting by reaffirming their commitment to ongoing collaboration for the benefit of the Islamic community.
