Police Search for Individual Ordered to Appear in Court in Ongoing Civil Case

The Maldives Police Service (MPS) has launched a search for a man who failed to appear before the Civil Court despite a court order requiring his presence in connection with an ongoing civil lawsuit.
The individual has been identified as 44-year-old Mohamed Isham, a resident of M. Maduvvari / Haveereenaaz. According to police, Isham was required to be presented before the court following a judicial order. However, authorities were unable to bring him before the court as instructed.

The Civil Court has ordered Isham to be remanded in custody and to appear for a hearing scheduled on 19 May 2025 at 10:15 a.m. Police are actively seeking information regarding his whereabouts.
