Fight in Hulhumalé Phase II Leaves Two Injured

A fight broke out near a Hiyaa tower in Hulhumalé Phase II on Monday night, resulting in two people being injured.
The incident was reported to police at around 11:51 pm. One of the injured individuals sustained a cut to the head, while the other suffered swelling and bruising on various parts of the back and elbows. In addition to the violence, the perpetrators stole two mobile phones.

Both victims were taken to Hulhumalé Hospital for treatment. A video purportedly showing the incident captures the scene on a vacant plot next to tower H11, where one man is seen fleeing while another lies on the ground in apparent pain.
Police have not confirmed any arrests but stated that an investigation is ongoing.
The Hiyaa towers, which are estimated to house approximately 30,000 residents, have experienced a range of criminal activities, including burglary and drug peddling.
