First Couple Attends SanguTV’s 10th Anniversary

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed attended the 10th anniversary celebration of SanguTV, a privately owned television station in the Maldives, on Farukolhufushi last night.

As part of the ceremony, SanguTV honoured its staff for their outstanding contributions. President Muizzu presented the SanguTV Staff of the Year 2024 award to Maahath Hussain Rasheed, while First Lady Sajidha awarded the Most Promising Employee 2024 title to Aminath Virusha.

The organisers also presented commemorative plaques to staff members who achieved notable success and to individuals who offered valuable support to the station. President Muizzu and the First Lady joined SanguTV’s senior management and staff to cut a specially prepared anniversary cake. The celebration concluded with a vibrant fireworks display.

Founded on 30 April 2015, SanguTV has maintained a strong presence in the Maldivian media sector and actively engages audiences through its online media platforms.

Minister of Youth Empowerment, Information and Arts Ibrahim Waheed, senior Government officials, media representatives, and a large number of SanguTV employees attended the ceremony.
