Applications Open for Civil Society Award 2025
The Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Information and Art has announced that applications are now open for the Civil Society Award 2025.
This national award aims to recognise the voluntary contributions of civil society organisations that work to empower communities and improve living conditions across the country.

The Civil Society Award is designed to highlight the value of voluntary efforts carried out by registered organisations. It serves as a national recognition of exemplary initiatives that uplift communities and contribute meaningfully to social development.

Organisations that are selected for the award will receive special recognition, including certificates and commemorative awards, in appreciation of their contributions to civil society.
Associations interested in applying are invited to submit their completed nomination forms either in person at the Ministry’s counter at the Social Centre, by 13:00 on Thursday, 10 July 2025, or by email to che@youth.gov.mv.
Application forms are available for download on the Ministry’s official website at www.youth.gov.mv. The nomination period officially opened to the public on 27 May 2025.
