Police Organise Festive Activities for Children at Fiyavathi Shelter

The Maldives Police Service organised special festivities for children at Fiyavathi, a state-run shelter in Hulhumalé, on Sunday.

According to the Ministry of Social and Family Development, the event was held under the banner of ‘Varah Loabin’. Children at the shelter were treated to lunch provided by a donor, while officers from the Hulhumalé Phase I police station distributed gifts and spent time engaging with them.

The ministry also noted that, during the Eid holidays, children at Fiyavathi received gifts and meals from the International Aid Campaign (IAC) and Al-Asr, two humanitarian organisations supporting the shelter.
