Gov’t Opens Applications for Visit Maldives Local Ambassadorship

The government has launched the Visit Maldives Local Ambassadorship programme to provide local artists and creators with a platform to showcase their talents during the country’s tourism promotion campaigns.
The initiative aims to enhance the global appeal of the Maldives as a destination rich in culture and artistic heritage. Through this programme, MMPRC intends to collaborate with local artists to highlight the nation’s culture, heritage, and products on international stages.

Participants selected as Visit Maldives Local Ambassadors will have the opportunity to promote tourism in the Maldives and gain visibility across global platforms. The programme is open to all Maldivian artists who wish to represent the country’s identity, culture, and natural beauty.
Interested applicants are invited to submit a brief proposal including their name, portfolio, and ideas for tourism promotion via email to proposals@visitmaldives.com.
