Le Meridien won the Dhiraagu Tekkers Resort Cup 2025 Lhaviyani Zone with a 3-2 victory over Cocoon Maldives in the final match held on 9 July at Le Meridien Maldives Resort & Spa.
Cocoon Maldives scored the opening goal in the first half. Le Meridien responded with two goals before the break, ending the half with a 2-1 lead. In the second half, Cocoon Maldives equalised, bringing the score to 2-2. Le Meridien later regained the lead with a third goal, securing the win and the championship title.
The final was followed by an award ceremony where players, coaches, and teams were recognised. The General Manager of Le Meridien Maldives Resort & Spa, Thomas Schult, was the Chief Guest.
The Dhiraagu Tekkers Resort Cup, now in its fourth year, features resort teams and is sponsored by Dhiraagu, along with other partners including The Hawks, ABA Maldives, Sonee Sports, Maldivian, Print Lab, Maldives Assure Supply, Sun Play, Medianet, Palestine Drinks, and ELL Mobile.
