The sixth session of the government’s ‘Ahaa’ forum was held last night, in an effort to engage with the public and address their questions and concerns directly.
Organised by the President’s Office in collaboration with Public Service Media (PSM), the forum is set to serve as a space for dialogue between government officials and members of the public on key national issues.
Four cabinet ministers participated in the session: Dr Abdulla Muththalib, Minister of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure; Thoriq Ibrahim, Minister of Tourism and Environment; Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim, Minister of Health; and Ibrahim Waheed, Minister of Youth Empowerment, Information and Arts. Each provided updates on their respective portfolios and answered questions from participants.
Discussions covered a range of subjects, including infrastructure development, tourism, healthcare, and youth initiatives. Ministers responded to queries submitted in advance and during the forum.
To support wide participation, the public was invited to submit questions through multiple channels, including in-person attendance, phone calls, SMS, and social media.
