HDC Cancels Previous Announcements on Thilafushi Industrial Land Leases Amid Plan Revisions

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has cancelled its previous announcements on leasing land for industrial use in Thilafushi, following revisions to the island’s Land Use Plan.
In a notice published in the Government Gazette today, HDC stated that ongoing changes to the Thilafushi Master Plan have prompted modifications to the current Land Use Plan. As a result, the corporation has withdrawn its announcements issued on 3 July and 14 July 2024, which invited proposals for leasing land in Thilafushi for industrial purposes.

HDC confirmed that all proposals submitted in response to these announcements, along with any offers made by the corporation, are now considered invalid.
The corporation expressed gratitude for the public’s cooperation and encouraged anyone with concerns to contact its hotline at 1516.
