Man Fatally Stabbed in Laamu Maavah, Suspect in Custody

A 29-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Laamu Atoll Maavah today following a physical altercation, according to the Maldives Police Service.
The victim has been identified as Moosa Ibrahim, of Nalahiya, Maavah, who was pronounced dead upon arrival at the island’s hospital.

Police have confirmed that Mohamed Ibrahim, also 29, from Asaree Manzil, Haa Dhaalu Atoll Nolhivaranfaru, has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
Authorities have launched an investigation and stated that further details will be shared as the case progresses.
