RDC Awarded Road Development Contract for Filladhoo

The Road Development Corporation Limited (RDC) has secured a contract to develop roads in Filladhoo, Haa Alifu Atoll.
The agreement was formalised in a ceremony yesterday, with the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure’s State Minister Hassan Rasheed signing on behalf of the ministry, and RDC’s Managing Director Ibrahim Nazeem representing the corporation.

The project, valued at USD 5 million, is expected to be completed within 730 days, according to the Ministry of Construction. This initiative is part of the government’s ongoing effort to improve road infrastructure across the Maldives.
Recently, the RDC was also awarded contracts for Phase 3 of road development in Kulhudhuffushi City and for projects in 11 islands across seven atolls, demonstrating the continued expansion of road construction work throughout the country.
