Over 3,000 Agreements Signed for Hulhumalé Flats

The Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) has signed agreements with 3,032 of the 4,000 recipients of newly constructed flats in Hulhumalé.

FDC confirmed that a total of 3,088 agreements have been scheduled so far. The signing process is taking place at the Synthetic Track area in Hulhumalé.

The flats are being built by two Indian construction companies. Recipients are being called to sign agreements in the order of completion of their units. The government had previously stated that residents would begin moving into the flats this month. According to FDC, the flats will be handed over once all internal works are completed.

Monthly rent and maintenance charges for the flats have been set as follows: two-bedroom apartments will have a rent of MVR 7,000 and maintenance fees of MVR 1,000, with a down payment of MVR 15,000; three-bedroom apartments will have a rent of MVR 9,000 and maintenance fees of MVR 1,500, with a down payment of MVR 25,000.
