Two Women Injured In Road Accident In Thinadhoo City

Two women sustained injuries in a traffic accident in Thinadhoo City yesterday, with one currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Dr Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital (ASMH).

According to the Maldives Police Service, the collision between a car and a motorcycle was reported at 7:44 a.m. and occurred at the junction of Ghaazee Magu and Rannabandeyri Magu.

Both women were on the motorcycle at the time of the accident. Police confirmed that the driver of the motorcycle is the one being treated in the ICU.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
