Maldives Secures Third Place in Relay at South Asian Games

The National Women’s Relay Team of the Maldives has secured the bronze medal in the 4×100 metre relay at the South Asian Athletics Championship currently taking place in India.

The event was held at the Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium in Ranchi, with five teams competing in the relay race. Sri Lanka claimed the gold medal, completing the race in 44.70 seconds. 

India followed closely, taking silver with a time of 44.93 seconds. The Maldivian team finished the race in 47.79 seconds, earning the bronze medal.
