The Football Association of Maldives (FAM) will host a nationwide football festival to mark the Diamond Jubilee, celebrating 75 years of Maldivian football.
The festival, named “Diamond Jubilee,” will begin in Malé with the first event scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the turf field of Maafannu Stadium. Over 1,500 young players from local football academies in Malé are expected to take part.

The two-day event will feature academy matches alongside activities aimed at fostering competition, camaraderie, sportsmanship, and community unity.
FAM stated that the Diamond Jubilee celebrations will extend beyond Malé, with vibrant festival activities planned across various regions of the Maldives.
