Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has signed an agreement to offer the Modern Port Management Programmes.

The agreement was finalised at a ceremony held yesterday at MPL’s head office, with Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Mueen signing on behalf of MPL and Vice Chancellor Dr Aishath Shehnaz Adam signing on behalf of the university.
Under the partnership, the two institutions will jointly offer a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Port Management, accredited by the Maldives Qualifications Authority.
MPL’s Port Training Centre, which already runs several certificate-level programmes in port management for company employees, will continue to expand education and training opportunities in the sector.
