Maldivian judges have departed for a professional training programme in India, which will take place from 8 to 12 December.

A special send-off ceremony for the participating judges was held on Thursday, attended by Indian High Commissioner Balasubramanian, Chief Justice Abdul Ghani Mohamed, and Judicial Service Commission (JSC) Chairman Husnee Mubarak.
The programme, organised for the seventh time for Maldivian judges, is conducted by the National Judicial Academy of India (NJA) in collaboration with the JSC.
The training opportunity is part of a memorandum of understanding signed between the NJA and the JSC on 11 February 2020, aimed at enhancing judges’ professional skills and experience.
